Services at St John's

Following the reintroduction of a national lockdown and the rise of coronavirus cases in the local area, it has been decided to suspend public acts of worship in the church once again.

We look forward to when services are able to resume once again and please note that our online services are unaffected.

In addition to our online services the following services are being held in the church each week.

It is no longer necessary to book in advance when attending services at St John's.  However, following the rise in cases of the Omicron variant of coronavirus, it is now a legal requirement for masks to be worn at all times in places of worship by everyone over the age of 11 (unless exempt or leading worship).  In addition to the wearing of masks, there are hand sanitising points at the entrances to the church and center for your use, please do use them.

Communion is currently received in one kind only (there is no sharing of a common cup) and we ask people to avoid physical contact during the sharing of the peace.  If you wish to socially distance there are cards for you to take that indicate to others that they should give you space when seated.

9:30 am - Holy Communion service held in church.

Regrettably we are not currently able to offer a mid-week service.
