The wildlife haven and peace garden was opened by The Rt. Revd. Paul Butler, Bishop of Southampton in June 2006.
Our vision was to make part of our churchyard a special place of peace for rest and prayer and reflection on God's creation. The wildlife haven expresses this with wild flowers, a small pond and a decking walk. You may see deer hiding under the trees, or damsel flies on the pond.
There are Prayer Walk leaflets in the church for anyone who may wish to spend time with God making use of the Wildlife Haven and Peace Garden.
We hope you will try it and that you may sense God's presence and enjoy the wonder of His creation.
