Vocations Days – could it be you?

Vocations Days

on Saturdays 10 am – 3:30 pm

We hold Vocations Days every 2-3 months and you are welcome to attend.

Vocations Days offer:

  • A space for prayerful reflection on vocation, listening to God and guidance.

  • Some information about different lay and ordained ministries.

  • No pressure to make any decisions, just time to ponder and ask questions.

  • No charge, lunch included.

Reader Ministry

Readers are lay ministers who teach, preach, and lead worship in a variety of contexts and who may also exercise a pastoral ministry such as funerals and visiting. The three year training is challenging and enjoyable, you will meet others and learn together in small groups and at occasional weekends together.  Come to a Vocations Day to find out more about Reader ministry and other ways of discerning and responding to God’s call.  Why not bring a friend and explore together?

For more information on either Vocations Days or being a Reader please contact the Revd Julia Mourant  Julia.mourant@winchester.anglican.org
